Sorry Nepal I'm going to Mongolia now. Sorry Mongolia I'm going to Iran now. Sorry Columbia you are even further down the list now.

There can't be anymore surprises? Can I join the gang of bank robbers?

I don't understand why most of the tours go from Heathrow. It is a real problem and adds a lot to the cost for me and anyone who lives up north to get to Heathrow when there is a great airport in Manchester, also Birmingham as well as Liverpool. When I was on a tour during May/ June many of my fellow travellers were complaining about this. They were also mentioning Newcastle airport. It is really typical. There are people who live north of the M25. It is putting me right off booking.

Angie, Your post did make me laugh... my list keeps growing and just when I think I've decided what I'm going to do next - JY gives me more options. So I've just invested in that famous book "How to get Rich" by Robbin Banks!!

Hello All,

Just caught up with this thread. Think I shall join the Bank robbin' crew. I have already booked with Voyages of Discovery and their trip in May to Honfleur, Guernsey and St Malo. Have always wanted to see Giverney and the Wisteria in May. Caught the cruise bug after travelling with Queen Mary 2 in July with my family 🙂 to Hamburg.

Out of the trips so far, I would love to see Iran- so different and where my Grandfather was in World War 1 or Persia as it was then. I retire at the end of this year, need to win the lottery tonight so that I can book a few more 😉

Iran - I've lost the thread!  (In a manner of speaking).

Is a tour to Iran going ahead?  I keep checking your online brochure

but nothing yet.  I read that the Iranian Consulate is now issuing visas

again.

Hi Fleurbyfleur,

We do indeed have a tour to Iran planned next year and there will be three dates available when it officially launches in a couple of weeks.

Kindest regards,

Happy Friday all,

As it's almost the weekend here's a couple new tours more to whet your appetite...

Take in views of spectacular scenery as you journey through Switzerland from Zurich to Lake Geneva. Winding your way up the ‘Queen of Mountains’ on Europe’s oldest cogwheel railway, cruising across sparkling Lake Lucerne on a paddle steamer and wine tasting in UNESCO-listed Lavaux, are just some of the incredible highlights.

And for those who wanted a new USA tour.....

The delightful coastal town of Falmouth is the perfect base for this New England adventure. From here discover the charms of Cape Cod, visit the opulent mansions of Newport and experience all the thrills of a whale-watching adventure. There will also be time to make your own discoveries and a visit to Boston is included too.

All the best

Julia

It's going to have to be bank robbing or the lottery.  No other way I am going to do all the trips I want to do.  Switzerland sounds ace and I fancy Russia, Iran, Mongolia, Cambodia, Peru, Croatia again all next year and I haven't even see the brochure yet.  What are you doing to us JY?

Hi Julia, does the JY New England tour include Maine?  I have seen a TS tour that does and goes to Arcadia NP.  Have been looking to get to Maine for some time, a tour which included Maine would be something that would interest me.

Kind regards

Katy

I too will join the bank robbery gang as this is the only option to be able to afford all the holidays! Next year is planned so will have to think very carefully as to where to go in 2018 - seems a long way away, but days do fly by very quickly.

Interested in the Falmouth and Cape Cod holiday. Had a brilliant trip here in May 2011, leaving Woods Hall for Martha's Vineyard on the car ferry. Remember Newport for the marina and Narragansett Avenue where all the posh houses are. Flo's Clam Shack gave me the best clam chowder, this was in Midleton bordering with Newport.

Stayed at Hyannis ( the wrong part) where JFK used to stay- we found out after we left!

Found Nauset Beach which is my happy place

Boston I have loved ever since. Baseball and Fenway Park, TD Gardens for Bruins ice hockey, Freedom Trail, whale watching was amazing. Barking Crab for a meal to die for. Quincy Market 🙂

Better stop now as I am drooling from the memories 😉

Hi Cindy

Going back to the posts approx 22/8. I know that you have been travelling with JY for a long time. Did you do some backtoback tours originally?

Perhaps I will meet you on a tour in the not too distant future, but will you be thinking of more US holidays, I wonder. Hope your son's wedding goes well or has gone well this year. Yep, I read the posts but don't always have time to put up posts myself.

Kind regards

Di

I am really looking forward to seeing the new brochure hopefully including Mongolia and also a different perspective on Malta and Gozo.

One country I am not keen on going to though is Iran.

I would also love to see Ethiopia included in a brochure at some stage.
