Hi Will,

Any more info regarding the level of walking activity on the new Nepal tour - will it be strenuous or easy enough? Walking most days or on just a couple? Specialised footwear and clothing needed? The proposed Nov departure would suit me well, as I'm currently thinking of doing Montenegro/Macedonia in Sept. Given the general age profile of JY customers I'm thinking it won't be too taxing??

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Bob,

it will be a more active style of holiday than our usual ones. but it's not so active that you have to be 21 and fighting to fit to do it. There will be an emphasis on walking certainly, but not necessrily hiking

Hello Will,

I have so many on my bucket list, made it when I hit 50 and realised I was missing out on so much. In the last 7 years I have been to a lot of my list, adding to it as I thought of other places. Last year I had 5 holidays, driving a husky sled in Finland and the Northern Lights, Orlando and Tampa, Heart of Alpine Europe followed by the Jacobite trains of Scotland, then France on a minicruise to St Malo. This year I have flown to Edinburgh with my daughters for one's hen party, have Route 61 booked for November and Flanders next May.

Hopefully you will have taken notice that I want to go to New Zealand for my 60th birthday NYE 2016

No, Cindy, you aren't going mad! I can't see the picture on my computer, just [Image: Viva etc etc]. Perhaps you could have another go, Will, so we can all enjoy whatever it is.

Hi Will,

Thanks for the info. It's still on my list so I'll wait and see till the brochure comes out to find out exactly what's involved. Although I have to say that you pack so much in to the usual JY itineraries I wonder what the "more active style" will involve! "Not necessarily hiking" doesn't rule it out either, so I'll wait with bated breath!

Cheers,

Bob

That's better, Will! Italy again. Now you've got me totally confused - a revamped Riviera or yet another area of Italy? Looking forward to receiving my copy of the new brochure in September.

No Easter Island! You're no fun anymore, Your Royal Willness :(

Rapa Nui might be on the small side but Jersey is much smaller and you are coming here! Where's your sense of adventure, Young Man?!

Luckily, you have more than redeemed yourself with the promise of Nepal........a serious contender for 2015. Might even bring you back a bag of the notorious local delicacy - yak meat candies.... (I kid you not...)

Keep up the good work!
