I would like to remind everyone to buy your insurance soon after booking your holiday so you are covered if you become ill or have an accident before your holiday starts and have to cancel. This happened to me a couple of years ago. 2 weeks before I was due to go on the Vietnam trip with Just You, I broke my shoulder so had to cancel. If I hadn't had holiday insurance in place before I went I would have lost all the money I had paid for my holiday. Just remember holiday insurance isn't only for when you are abroad, it can be vital if anything happens and you have to cancel your trip.

Hi,

I would suggest everyone takes time to read the small print. Just realised mine - from nationwide- does not terrorism/terrorist act but does cover civil unrest, repatriation and medical costs. Crazy.
