I have just been reading comments regarding suitcase locks for the Inspirational China tour. I realise cases are always vulnerable, and always lock mine. However, the need to lock side pockets is a new one on me. Will I need to do this on the internal flights? What happens if side pockets don't zip? I can't find any information on this on the Air China web site

Hi Daffiegirl,

A couple of colleagues have been contacted about this and so far no-one has come across a requirement for customers to lock the side-pockets of their luggage.

We would however suggest that you don't put anything in these pockets when flying (just to err on the side of caution).

Kindest regards,

Julia
