Hi everyone. I've recently divorced and have been looking around for companies that specialise in holidays for single/solos. The general view when asking around is that Just You would be ideal. What I would like from the holiday is relaxation and company as and when, I don't mind 'being on my own ' in restaurants, etc as I do this with my job all the time, but social company is always good. I am looking for a holiday in mid - end May for (to start with) 7 days. Any suggestions/thoughts?

Since I had my first holiday with JY I haven't looked back. I chose Mijas and thoroughly enjoyed it. It seems that quite a few people chose this as their first one. Since then I have been with JY to Venice Carnival, for a relaxing holiday at San Marco on the Cilento Coast and on the laid back river cruise from Budapest to Strasbourg. You don't have to be alone on a JY holiday unless you wish to be. I always enjoy the company and have made good friends on each holiday. On the front of my new brochure I have listed the holidays I'd like to do. It's lovely to have the choice but it is difficult to decide!

I'm sure you'll enjoy your first holiday with JY wherever you decide to go.

Hello and welcome

I have done 11 JY tours since 2006, from Europe to Kenya to Newzealand and many USA tours..

Short haul tours are a good start I can recommend, highlights of Tuscany or Austrian Lakes, I also have done Poland and Tatra Mountains but that's no longer around.

Any other questions just ask, the tours are great fun and you meet a great mix of people and see and do as much as you want to while away.

Why don't you look at the new 2016 Just You brochure and I am sure you will find something that takes your fancy. On Just You holidays you can do what you want to - you can either join everyone on included excursions or do your own thing. You will meet people of all ages and have lots of fun along the way.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will choose the Costa Dorada beach Holiday first of all. Mainly because the dates will suit. (My daughter is away with school, so there are no child care issues!!). I'm just waiting for the final divorce proceedings to go through before I book.
