I am taking two bags as advised by JY.

My safari bag I am putting side my beach suitcase, so that I only have one bag to check in.

When we get to mombassa I will split them up, as informed by JY and just have my safari bag, and meet up with my suitcase at the hotel. I think that's what the notes said.

How about I give my mobile number to Olly the editor to pass on to you all as I am going to be the first at Heathrow then when you arrive I can tell you where we will be. how does that sound?

Doing the same with my bags, soft one inside main case, still not sure Ive packed the right stuff tho.

so much still to do, but sure the time will fly now.

The note came with the booking confirmation, in the hints and tips , on the attachment to the confirmation.

I can always bring it in to work tomorrow and scan it and send it over. I have your e-mail address now.

The note said that if you were going on the beach extension it might be a good idea to pack two bags.

One soft one for the safari and one suitcase for the beach holiday.

The beach bag will be taken from you at Mombassa and held in storage for the time we are on safari and you will meet up with it at the hotel, or on the way to the hotel.

The trouble with that was my flight from Manchester to London, was only allowing me one check in bag for the hold and not two.

So, I am putting the safari bag ready packed,into the suitcase and then ,when we arrive im Mombassa, I will take it out of the suitcase, then re lock the suitcase, for its journey into storage.

Dawn is doing the same.

Keep weighing it as well, no shoes out yet and reaching the limit. !!!!

Might have to wear a pair of yours, from the trailer that you are attaching to the back of the plane :-)

Got my tickets on Tuesday,i got my currency in K Shillings and American travellers cheques but JY now advise taking American Dollars because travellers cheques are difficult to change oops! The next but hopefully last dilema, what to wear to travel, any suggestions.

Don't know if anyone will read this before you go as its nearly time but just to wish you a safe journey. I hope you have a fabulous time, I'm so looking forward to going in October. I've read your messages about money, jabs etc and picked up a few tips. Looking forward to reading your reports on your return and maybe seeing some photos - but nah don't leave out the embarrassing bits - there the best!!!

Getting more and more nervous and nearly excited !!

Moyra and I been on e-mail this morning discussing the trips out.

I have now decided to take a baby's potty, 2 use for a tinkle, and when not in use for that it can double up as a sun hat !!

Yes Dawn I think my packing is sorted, still the shoes to put in though, not packed any.

Got your number in my phone and Moyra's also. Will text when I have cleared by bags from arrivals and on my way to bus for terminal transfer.

I have hung up a pair of cropped pants and top, that are comfy. Wear my clarks shoes, that my friends say make me look in need of care!!!!

Don't care they are comfy.

I would wear what you will feel comfy in (there's that word again) that is the order of the day.

I will look a right tuttle, in my cut off's special shoes and black flight socks !!!
