Good afternoon to you all, I hope you are keeping well.

You've all been very patient whilst our team of holiday creators put the finishing touches to their new tours and our studio piece together the new brochure. Since we've hit the print button, we're ready to start whetting your appetite for what's to come in 2016. The decision is where to start.....

I think let's keep it quite close to home with a short hop over to mainland Europe...

Uncover 2,000 years of history as you discover UNESCO-listed sites, admire architectural gems and visit Valencia’s famed cathedral, said to hold the Holy Grail. After three days of exploration, and a special paella-making class, head to Spain’s Costa Blanca for an all-inclusive 4-night stay. Here, beaches, clear waters and plenty of rest and relaxation are on the menu.

Now... the question is which tour do I tell you about next?

Hello Julia,

Such a tease, although Spain sounds great. Not sure where Mark found it on the web site- I have just looked and could only find the ones that were on there already :-/

Hello Julia

Whilst I fully appreciate that Spain will be absolutely perfect for some it has never been on my radar, Italy yes. It's a good job we all have a very varied idea of what we want in a holiday, that's what keeps JY going.

What should you tell us about next? A brand new and exciting long haul would be good, or, if you wanted to stay a bit closer I would like to see a new holiday to a lesser known part of Italy, along the same lines as Apulia and Calabria, one can always hope I suppose!.

So a couple of requests as to what I should post next... the question is who do I please first?

Tour 1

By popular demand...Sail past secret coves, red-roofed villages and ancient olive groves on this island-hopping cruise across the glorious Adriatic Sea. Along the way, discover chic towns, sparkling waterfalls and secluded beaches, sample delicious local wine and cuisine, and take in magnificent views from the highest point in the Adriatic islands. (Subject to terms times, I think this one has a date that falls in the summer holidays Gwyn)

Tour 2

The long and rugged Dalmatian Coast is dotted with historic cities, pretty towns and lovely beaches. On this eight-day tour you’ll discover its treasures, including the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and the unspoilt Elafiti Islands. You’ll also taste Croatian delicacies, such as seafood and wine, and soak up stunning scenery on a visit to medieval Kotor in neighbouring Montenegro.

Tour 3

Barbados is an idyllic Caribbean island where year-round sunshine, palm-fringed white-sand beaches and turquoise waters are just the beginning of the highlights. The history of this island is revealed amongst colonial architecture and inside fascinating plantation houses, while its colourful culture can be discovered as you join the locals at the famous Oistins Fish Fry and dance to the sounds of reggae and calypso.

And still, I have even more tours to share with you over the next few days!

Keep going Julia, nothing there for me yet! I've got an awful feeling I'm going to be that hard to please person. I've got a short haul I'm already looking forward to booking when the new brochure comes out, just looking for that long haul.

I know Alicia has been busy of late but am just wondering if she will be answering my question re Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan under the heading of New Destinations to Explore, my long haul might be solved there.

Avocet - I'm the other hard-to-please person and I'm waiting to be transported to places like K and A. Also maybe Iran and/or Turkmenistan?? I'm ready to slap my deposit on the table 🙂

Oh yes - and the Tran-Siberian Express - Moscow to Beijing. There's money going into the piggy bank as we speak...

Did someone say another long haul?

Borneo’s tropical rainforests and climate provide the perfect conditions for a huge variety of species to thrive, making this a paradise for nature-lovers. With numbers of wild orangutan down to about 25,000, what a privilege it would be to see one of these wonderful creatures in its own habitat, and this tour makes that a possibility. As you head into mountainous landscapes, cruise on winding rivers and trek through dense forest, keep a lookout for this endangered species as well as numerous other remarkable creatures and incredible flora.

My friend flew out yesterday to Borneo, she will be gutted your bringing this tour back, she has gone totally solo and would of rather been in a group!!

Dear Avocet

Yes we have been very very busy putting a whole new collection of tours together, and well the response from the community for Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan was very positive, so we will be looking into these for 2017. Sorry if this is a while away, but we need to conduct some extensive research to make sure we get the right product.

I'm sure in our new tours list thee will be something for you … keep an eye on Julia's posts
