I’m going to the Rockies Canada in January and can’t get my head around what clothing would be best to take as it wil be very cold.  Looking for recommendations re coat/jackets trousers etc for day wear.  I’m used to packing for warmer climates!!

Thank you  😃

Hi Dolly

I did a tour to Canada in Feb 16 with Travelsphere. While there was a lot of sno and it was cold, it was a very different type of cold. Rather than the damp through to the bone cold that we get, it was a dry cold - a lot more bearable. I had brought padded ski trousers with me but hardly used them - jeans with long socks underneath were more than warm enough. I brought my usual winter jumpers and may have worn an extra light layer underneath compared to at home. Hope this helps!

Have a great your holiday- it's a beautiful part of Canada.

Rgds
