My husband and I have just come back from the Best of the National Parks Tour (May 2009). We both think that this is just about the best holiday we have ever had - and that is really saying something! Fantastic scenery from beginning to end (you can never get bored, as the terrain changes all the time), a great bunch of people to share the experience with, a brilliant itinerary, very good hotels, etc etc. We were really looked after from beginning to end of the holiday. Our Tour Manager, Wendy, was absolutely superb; in fact, I wanted to bring her home with me to organise my life! Joe, our coach driver, was definitely the best, too. My only gripe is that we couldn't carry straight on and do the whole tour again in reverse!

This is an extremely well-planned tour, and I thoroughly recommend it. May was an excellent time to go - avoid the crowds! As far as crowds went, the parks ranged from very, very quiet to comfortable. Seeing Yellowstone under snow was a bonus!
