Hi Catherine,

Thanks so much for your message. Baggage allowance is also to account for the ground transportation while on holiday & why these can be different to the airline you are travelling with. There's more info in the essential info on the website:

Baggage Handling and Allowance: The baggage allowance for all our holidays is one piece of luggage/ suitcase – with the dimensions of 76cm x 58cm x 25cm (30” x 23” x 10”) maximum weight of 44lb (20kg) per person, plus one standard piece of hand luggage. Irrespective of individual airline allowances the above limits apply.

They are set taking account of our wider operational requirements including ground transportations, porterage, etc. To avoid any problems with our transportation providers, possible delays and inconvenience to you and your fellow travellers, please ensure these maximum baggage conditions are adhered to. You are responsible for the carriage and care of your luggage throughout your holiday except for such times as it may be in the hands of the airline, here in such circumstances the airline specific terms and conditions relating to the carriage of luggage apply or when porterage at a hotel on arrival and departure is included. We will not be held responsible for any delays and/or additional costs arising from any breach of the above luggage allowances.

I hope this helps to explain the allowances specified and wishing you a wonderful tour!

Best wishes,

Hello

can I just jump onto this message. My case measurements fall into this size (medium case) and weight allowance also but my hand luggage is a hand luggage case which fits in line with a standard hand luggage allowance. I am doing an 18 day trip so will need this allowance. Kind regards.

Hello,

I have just bought a new suitcase whos measurements are 67x48 x28 deep. ( 26.3x18.9 x11 deep ) and Weight will be below your stated 20KG person.

I see you state the measurements as 76cm x 58cm x 25cm (30” x 23” x 10”).

I'm way within the height and width measurements, but its very difficult to find a suitcase as thin as 10" on the market.

I'm hoping that if you're less in one measurment, there is leeway on another.

Thank you ..

Hi Team,

Just to follow onto this post - in relation to the size of luggage do you calculate this on a cumulative basis similar to other airlines/organisations e.g. 76 cm x 58 cm x 25 cm equates to 159 cm? As I want to ensure I purchase the appropriately sized luggage and everything I've seen so far that includes 25 cm is cabin sized only.

I'd be grateful for clarification and any recommendations if this is at all possible.

Thank you.

Hi Nik P and Lawrend71,

Thanks for your messages. As mentioned the dimensions in place are to account for baggage handing with the coach drivers.

In terms of hand luggage it's advisable to check with the airline you are flying with for their standard limitations. If you are still concerned with regards to the size of your luggage we would recommend giving the team a call on 01858 415043 or emailing enquiries@justyou.co.uk to discuss your luggage in accordance with the tour you are travelling on specifically.

Best wishes,
