We are now guaranteeing the departure of every holiday featured in the January brochure, we know that this will give you peace of mind when booking as you now have the choice over 550 individual tours that are guaranteed to depart with more dates being added online.

 

We also want you to know that you are getting the best deal when booking early, so we have a guaranteed price promise. If you see your holiday advertised for less than you paid we will refund the difference.

 

Our fourth guarantee is a price match, if you find an identical holiday with another operator at a lower price than Just You, we will not only match the price but will give you £100.

 

We hope you enjoy the new look of your January brochure (which will be with you very soon), we've changed the layout so that you can easily find the holiday highlights along with some handy hints from our Tour Managers and local guides.

Hi Julia,

I look forward to receiving the new brochure (hopefully!) and well done on the guaranteed departures policy - I saw this being implemented when I was looking at the website yesterday.  It gives huge peace of mind and increased confidence, rather than having to ask about the "green light!"

The loyalty guarantee is a wonderful idea. Apologies for the questions...

However would it be possible to

a) get an idea speculatively of what the discount would be. I have already booked my 2018 holidays with JY - Treasures of Andalucia in May and Inspirational China and Hong Kong in October. But I have already an beady eye on the Spirit of India tour for one of my 2019 holidays and if it's running maybe Northern Cyprus (relax).

b) how does the system know i'm a returning customer? (I prefer to book online)

c) is there a time limit on this guarantee?

First of all a Very Happy New Year. Will the discount be applied to the holidays one has already booked? For example, I have booked Burma for November after I return from Australia and Galapagos for next March. I personally feel I should receive a discount as I have been very loyal and have not yet tried other tour operators!

Good Afternoon Chris,

The discount and time limit on this guarantee will depend entirely on the choice of tour and the date which you choose for future bookings.

The system will know that you are a returning customer, even if you have booked online, as we keep a customer record of all our customers' previous purchases - so all you'll need to do is call and book.

I got the new brochure this morning.  It looks good, and it's nice to see that transfer times from airport to resort are included again.  

I was told when I booked back at the beginning of December that the holiday was guaranteed to go, regardless of numbers, so I am happy to find this confirmed in the brochure.

I am just a tad annoyed though as I booked too early to have this discount in booking a new holiday included.  Particularly as I am not in a position to book another holiday this year.   😞

Hi Julia/James/ Amy.

Like others I am delighted that JY are offering a loyalty bonus and like others I already have my 2 holidays booked for this coming.year so I am expecting that this will be applicable to future bookings only.

You state the system will know that I am a returning customer as you keep a record of all previous purchases and I am just wondering if the bonus would apply should I book through a travel agent as opposed to directly with JY?

Reason I ask is that a) I have had problems linking my holidays on your systems in the past (there is a long thread somewhere on the forum) and b) I have one upcoming holiday that I directly booked on line (showing) and the much more expensive one for later in the year that I booked through an agent, who is a friend, to help them 'grow' their independent business( which isn't). If the customer in this case is actually the agent as opposed to myself then despite my loyalty to your brand I would be missing out on the bonus -correct ?

You appear to be saying that you need to have been on and returned from one holiday before booking your next one if the discount is to be applied. However, many people including myself, want to book two or more holidays at the same time to avoid disappointment if the second one gets fully booked early on.

I am looking to book Crete in June and Kerala in November 2018. Does that mean I have to return from Crete first with my fingers crossed that Kerala still has vacancies when I get back if I want the discount applied to that holiday. Doesn't sound quite right to me or am I missing something?.

A query re the price promise. Does this apply to holidays booked last year but to be taken this year? I am booked on the 6th Nov departure to Cambodia, Laos with Vietnam add on and I notice the price is £100 less than that on my invoice.

My question was that I have already made 2 future bookings - one in November this year and one in March next year and will be a bit peeved if I do not get discount for these two holidays. If I had know about the discount, then I would not have booked the holidays till my return from Australia. I am sure lots of loyal Just You customers are in the same boat - booking future holidays in advance, i.e. even before returning from a holiday. So will all of us who have already booked our future holidays all get discounts?

Good Morning Everyone,

It is great to know that you are excited by the changes we have made to Just You in terms of our guarantees and promises.

A number of you have asked about the guaranteed loyalty benefits. To give you a few more details, the discount, which will be a minimum of £50 per person off your next booking, will be applied to the next holiday that you book, as long as it is within six months of returning from a Just You holiday.

To launch the loyalty benefit we are extending the offer to anyone who has booked a holiday in the last 12 months.

Unfortunately we are unable to backdate the loyalty benefit to anyone who has already booked a holiday, hopefully you will be able to make use of the benefit in the future.

Sorry Amy, this isn't very clear - I'm probably being thick! 

What I wanted to know is 

(a) do I have to return from my first trip to get a discount on my second, or if I book one trip will I get a discount on the second even if I've not been on the first one?

(b) Does the second trip need to be booked or taken within a set time from the first?

Can you try to explain again please - and I'll try harder to understand!

Now I’m really confused! The reply says:-

Surely these two comments contradict themselves! Like many people I tend to have the next two or three holidays booked well in advance to avoid missing out, for example I have my holidays for 2018 booked already. There is no value at all for me to get a voucher for £50 which I have to use within six months of returning.
