I always get my anti-malarial prescription from my health centre, but evidently the price of Malorone (or its equivalent) has recently gone up. I send the script to www.TravelPharm.com and they send the pills back in the post - current price is £1.50 per tablet. They do charge for postage but it is still cheaper than taking the script to my local pharmacy.

So went to doctor for malaria tablets and he gave me a NHS prescription £8.40 for them, he said it was his interest to keep me healthy and nobody should buy private ones.
The travel nurse at my surgery told me the NHS is expensive. I should go to the Tesco pharmacy, they sell at half the NHS price.
