Back recently from the Discover Puglia tour , which started on 3rd June 2018, and I can recommend it thoroughly.

There were 26 women and only 4 men, which at first was a bit daunting, but we soon became a very friendly group, and had a great holiday .The hotel, Sierra Silvana, was lovely, set in large gardens, with a big outdoor pool. The food was good, and quite varied. The hotel is set high in the hills, and not in walking distance of a town, but that wasn't a problem, as we went on several trips, and in the evening made our own entertainment, with music and dancing on two occasions. In my opinion, the best trips were to the smaller towns, Locorotondo, Matera and especially Monopoli, where we had delicious, really fresh sea bream for lunch, and got involved in a local religious festival.  On the last night, a few of us went to a fabulous restaurant, next door to our hotel, called Il Fagiano, where we had the most amazing antipasti, followed by delicious pasta dishes, with good local white wine.

This restaurant looks gorgeous, and the food is wonderful, and it is not expensive.

Perhaps the best thing on our trip was our Tour Manager, Marsha Khaligi, who was so helpful, informative, professional and great fun.

I have no hesitation in recommending this JY tour

Thanks for the review, this is a popular tour from what I have heard, so glad you had a good time.

As a man you will normally be in the minority I am afraid...I have been on tours where there is only 1 man but us ladies are a welcoming bunch...

Thanks for posting your review - I’m booked on this tour for 2 September and really looking forward to it. The men are always outnumbered but most of them don’t seem to mind having lots of female company!
