I have just returned from the Istrian Coast tour which was fantastic. The hotel was very good, clean & modern, set in a lovely location by the adriatic. I upgraded to a sea view room with balcony which I can recommend. The food was good & the staff were all lovely, I must though single out Lily who worked tirelessly in the bar, she was very efficient & always had a smile for us.
The excursions were pretty much full on & a little tiring in the hot weather, the stand out places for me were the Plitivice Lakes, Opatija & Ljubljana. I didn't do all of the optional trips as I wanted time to relax which was needed, an extra 2 days would have been perfect to fit everything in.
Lastly praise for our Tour Manager Vlatka who was excellent, she kept everything running smoothly & was very caring. Bosuncat (Elaine) if you are reading this V says 'Hi'
