Did this trip recently. Had a great holiday and enjoyed visiting this part of India. Slower paced than the Spirit of India tour and very different things to do and see. Really enjoyed the experience of spending time on the houseboat, seeing the development of sustainable tourism in local villages and meeting local people.

Hotels, apart from the beach one, were of a good standard and food was great.

It is a long journey each way but well worth it.
