Hi Iam considering visiting Japan in October but being a vegetarian and i don't like fish would it be a problem.  Are there any restrictions on medical prescription eg tablets on arrival to Japan. How many people are booked on this trip.  Jan

Hi Jan,

We do advise to customers that Japanese cuisine is predominantly seafood based.

However, we have spoken to our local agent in Japan and they've said that as long as they know beforehand, they will ensure there are alternative meals available that contain no fish or meat.

If you would like to book a place on the trip, please let our Holiday Advisers know your dietary requirements, so we can make sure to put a note on your booking and inform our agent.

Regarding medication, most are fine, but Japan does have some restrictions. We advise that you check with the Embassy and the FCO directly regarding your specific medication.

I hope this helps!

Many thanks,

Vickie

Thank for the information as I would really like to go to Japan but didn't want to make myself a fool not liking the food. How many are on the October trip and how many are doing the extra days in Honk Kong? As I was thinking about paying the extra ang going straight through to Japan but if most of people as doing the extra days I might change. Jan

Hi Jan,

Not at all, as long as we know in advance we will always advise agents of dietary requirements of our customers, so everyone is catered for as far as possible, obviously taking into account what is available locally.

There are 21 people on the trip so far, 4 of which are also doing the Hong Kong add-on.

Many thanks,

Vickie

Hi

I have just booked the 11october Japan Revealed with the Hong Kong add on.  I didn't realise how popular this trip was as just a few spaces left.  Very nervous and wondering if anybody will be staying overnight at a Heathrow hotel on way out and or on the way back?  Jan
