Did Isteria with Travelsphere (same hol) and its really nice, think you will definately enjoy that one.

Yes I have done the Istria trip when it was in Rabac Mick, but now it has moved I haven't spent much time in the Opatija area (apart from a very rainy morning) so I was thinking on that one. Bit concerned that no one has booked for that date yet though. Like you say Bob people are booking later and later. I have to make sure that my cats can get into their preferred holiday place 😛 so I have to be certain of my dates and space for them before I can book a holiday. I am somewhat surprised that no one has booked but it is a new location and hotel and they have a refurbishment going off and perhaps people may be concerned that this early date may be cancelled as the earlier date in May was.

I think I am going to pass Cindy to be honest, but will let you know if I am flying from Heathrow at anytime so we can perhaps meet up for a meal at the 3 Magpies! :thumbup:

I think later bookings are partly down travellers wanting be sure a holiday is going ahead. I personally don't like the anxious wait after booking until I know the the tour is cleared to go. Many of us incur considerable aditional costs like travel to airports and overnights in hotels. We need to know tours are cleared before we commit to the extra expense.

I totally agree Sarah. I always have to overnight for both Heathrow and Gatwick and of course travel both ways usually by National Express. I went on the first trip out to Slovenia in May of this year and it was a worry for a good while on whether we were going to be cleared for enough numbers for the date to be confirmed. We ended up with 16 of us so that was okay.

I only threw the issue of my cats in 🙂 because I have to book so far in advance to get them a place and if for example my holiday of choice was cancelled I may not be able to get them in on another date. Hope that makes sense?

I am keeping watch on what you book, I might be interested in the Maltese holiday. Have been loads of times previously, love going and have a Gozitan pen pal whom I have written to since I was 11 years old and you know roughly how old I am. I enjoy visiting her and her family.

Some of the walking is rough, I would probably take my "dodgy walking stick" as AbbaDave calls it, with me this time, to be used when necessary. Came in very useful in Slovenia and Peru. When I am out at dusk or in the dark I also carry a torch, not that I am neurotic of course.

Hi Di! 🙂 Funnily enough I was only out for lunch with my brother yesterday and we were talking about you! Reason being my eldest niece is travelling in South America, been to Peru and the Amazon rainforest and they are just in Argentina at the moment.

I will email you if you are interested in Malta, although I was thinking about going back to Cilento to be honest. Either will suit me but it would be great to meet up again. :thumbup:
