Good morning,
Thank you for getting in touch. The manager of our rail program has sent the following detail down to me:
In the customer's final documentation that we post out, we add information about a recent agreement that we've resolved with Eurostar for UK rail which, if customers buy their UK tickets via Eurostar, they are protected as detailed below:
How to book UK rail for added travel protection
We would fully recommend you book your domestic rail ticket directly with Eurostar via their Domestic Rail Section. In doing so, if for whatever reason your UK rail journey is delayed and your Eurostar train is missed, you will qualify for onward rail travel as the International Conditions of Carriage will apply to your journey. Therefore booking via this service will give you peace of mind and ensure your journey is protected. The same conditions apply to your return travel. If you book your UK domestic rail ticket separately, this guarantee does not apply.
Eurostar offer this service to us, as an impartial agent and will be happy to offer the best and most sensible options to get you to St Pancras International. If you would like to discuss your UK domestic rail options with Eurostar, please call 01233 617913. Hours of opening: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm only. If the line is engaged, we would respectfully ask you to try again at a later time. The service is offered as a courtesy to our customers via Eurostar - there are no hidden charges - Eurostar will endeavour to respond as quickly as they can.
I hope this helps?
Kindest,
Ben
