I am keen to do the Bruges trip especially now that others have mentioned visiting Ypres whilst there, will Ypres be permanently on the itinerary.

The itinerary in the brochure doesn't mention Ypres so it may be that this was a one-off or something we do if time permits.

But I will pass these comments on to my colleagues as it sounds like it was a popular stop. Maybe it can be a permanent fixture in future.

I was on the Bruges Oct trip and although Ypres wasn't mentioned in the brochure, I got the impression that it was an extra optional excursion, which had been done before, and 'the office' let the tour guides know where to go, e.g. we also stopped off at Ostende on the return journey. The visit to Ypres was very short, we left early evening, had time to have a meal, then saw the nightly remembrance ceremony and then it was back on the coach to go back to the hotel. Loopylou, I'd recommend the Bruges trip anyway, it is lovely for a short break.
