This would be my first trip with Just You, a lifetime ambition to visit Nepal and first time since I was 19 that I travelled so far on my own, anyone else felt nervous about travelling so far alone even though you know all will be ok? Also anyone done this trip that can give any feedback

/advise?

I am booked to go to Nepal in November and when you reach the airport and meet up with others, you are not on your own! This will be my 3rd trip with JY, people want to be friendly, as we all like to share the experience. Apart from a couple of trips in my twenties and certainly not long distances, I was 50 before I decided really life is too short to worry. And yes, you are looked after and not left on your own unless you want to be. I know there are many posts on this forum saying the same.

I've arrived back from this trip today, we had Yvette Barnett as tour manager, she has excellent knowledge of the region and was a great tour manager. The walks were not over strenuous, plus we had a few extra excursions arranged such as getting up at the crack of dawn to see the sunrise while we were in Pokhara which was certainly worth the early start.

Hi Tim,

I'd be interested in this holiday although the fact that the Everest flight is no longer offered has put me off quite a bit!  Would you be willing to write a review please?  I'm especially interested to hear whether the longer walk was tough going as this was putting me off a bit as well, but I'm encouraged that you said they walks weren't over strenuous!  I'd also be interested to hear what you thought of the damage done to the buildings in Kathmandu by the earthquake and if any of them have been repaired yet!  I've read a few articles saying that virtually no progress has been made and many of them have scaffolding or covers over them.

Best wishes,

Bob

PS I had Yvette as TM in Namibia and she is superb!
