[align=left]Hi,  I have searched far and wide online for a reputable company that doesn't overcharge for solos travellers and I hope I have found the right one now.

[align=left]I look forward to reading of your experiences travelling alone and would be grateful for recommendations on any holidays.  I would like to celebrate a birthday with a social holiday but with so many to choose from it is not easy.

[align=left]Have a good day everyone.

Hi sandy son I just returned from my first holiday to Costa de la luz  absolutely wonderful I had a birthday while there had a great day with cards, cakes and celebrations with people who were complete strangers only days before and I am sure some of those people will be friends for a very long time .so I must say I was only traveling alone until I stepped off the plane.so pick a destination  and enjoy best wishes Phil.

Well said Phil.  Strangers are friends you haven't yet met.  Welcome Sandyson, hope you find a holiday you like.

Hi Sandysun

Welcome to the forum, I'm relatively new here, I've not yet been on any trips but I have 2 booked for next year, one to Tuscany and the other a Mekong River Cruise.  Feeling slightly apprehensive but mostly excited!!

Hope you will choose to join us.

Best wishes

Rose

Hi Rosie, well I was excited about finding this holiday specialist but have now found out that I can't join a holiday from abroad, I must fly from the Uk.  As I live in Turkey that would make the holiday much more expensive and also longer.  So I will probably book with another comoany that allows people to join at the destination.  Enjoy your travels.

I live in Turkey and as this company does not allow people to join at the destination I may well have to book with another company. Flying from here to the UK to then fly out again makes it far more expensive and time consuming for me so I am looking elsewhere.

It is a shame as the tours looked so good. Carry on travelling and enjoy.
