Hi Guys

Just saying hello as a Just You newbie - heading to India in October, really looking forward to it!

Any tips or advice generally about travel would be welcome and would be great to make contact with anyone else on the same trip

Hi Jim

I have been on both trips to India. Spirit of India is very full on but you do see and do so much. Highlights for me were seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise, sailing on the Ganges and seeing a tiger in the wild. Kerala was much more relaxed and I really enjoyed the time spent on the houseboat. Weather was warm and sunny in north India and was warm and wet in Kerala.

There are reviews of both trips in the review section you may find vel ful

Hi Lesley,   As I am going to India this October, I would like to know if a 2 round pin for my iron is correct.

Hi

My adaptor for India has three round pins. Have recently invested in a Skross adaptor which can be used in many countries so that I know I have the right one!

Hope this helps

Hi Gill,

The voltage in India is 220 volts AC, 50Hz. We recommend you take an international adaptor plug with you. Plugs used are of the round two- and three-pin type.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday in India!

Kind Regards,

Mildred

Look forward to meeting you

Hi

I did this trip in early October and weather was warm and sunny. T-shirts, cropped trousers/shorts and comfortable sandals are fine for daytime. I took dressier trousers, fancier tops and a couple of dresses for nights. Would also suggest a light weight fleece for early morning.

Any other questions please ask
