Hi, I am going on this tour and so is a friend whom I met on my first JY trip. It can be quite nerve racking doing your first trip but don't worry everyone is very friendly and welcoming and the tour guides are excellent. My friend and I went to Vietnam and Cambodia last year so this is our 3rd trip. I come from Yorkshire and she comes from Lancashire so you won't be the only northerner. We are flying down from Manchester on the 5th and staying overnight at the Premier Inn on Bath Rd. it is a lot less hassle than crossing Heathrow from one terminal to another. If you have any questions just ask.
