Did this trip last October my first one with JY - it was amazing. Although it is a full on tour with many early starts and plenty of travelling you will appreciate the reasons why when visiting the Taj and the Ganges - the later being the highlight for me.

Keep an open mind look beyond the extreme poverty but most of all enjoy the experience of travelling in this country.

With regard to money - on arrival at New Delhi we changed £50 into Rupees at an Exchange desk in the airport then used the hotels after that without any problem. ATM's were not very reliable as many of them do not have anything money in them.
