:I am off to Thailand at the end of Jan and am undecided whether or not to take Malaria tablets, various sites and friends have very conflicting views, although it has come back on my travel plan that I do need to take the tablets, but I also know many places in Thailand are malaria free, so if you have done this holiday I would just like to know your veiws.

Thanks Ange S

Hi Ange :)

Im going to Thailand in April 25th and my Nurse said as we are only going to the North tribe border for one day. where Malaria is found most there is no need to take the tabelts even if its a weeks course just keep well covered in repelents ects and we should be fine 🙂

hope this helps.

|Hope you have a fab hol hun.

Hi Chloe thank you for replying, its very reassuring especially when you are in agreement with somebody.

Searching the web and talking to the practise nurse this is also the decision, given our itinery, that I have also come to, I have taken anti malarials before but obviously don't want to again unless really needed, and I do have plentyy of wipes and sprays to take with me.
