I've done two trips with Just You - the Pyramids/Nile Cruise last November, and the Spirit Of India just a few weeks ago.

Both were thoroughly enjoyable and I could not fault JY's organisation. Okay, the itineraries are very busy and you often have to get up early, but it's well worth it. If I went to these places on my own, I wouldn't be able to see and do half the things that I experienced with JY. When I tell my friends back home about what I got up to on the holiday, they're amazed and impressed (and probably jealous too!!!)

On both trips I've been fortunate to have great tour managers and great travelling companions.

I'd have no qualms about travelling with JustYou again, in fact I can see myself working right through their brochure as quickly as finances and time off from work will allow! 🙂

Hi all,

I've been on 7 holidays with JY, and enjoyed them all.

So far I've been to America 4 times, Canada once, Cuba and New Zealand (via Los Angeles and Hong Kong).

There have been disruptions due to weather, but no one can control the weather, and JY have taken care of me each time (one holiday delayed and modified due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and one disrupted by hurricane Ike in 2008).

I'm planning to go to Costa Rica later this year.

After seeing the last few posts I feel pretty inadequate now - lol!

I've been on 2 JY holidays so far - Lake Garda last year and Barcelona this year. Both were hugely enjoyable holidays.

I'm hoping to go to India next year, then possibly Prague, Vienna, and Budapest, and Tuscany after that - so I've a few lined up! Just need money and leave from work now - or a lottery win!

Please don't feel inadequate!! ...lol....

See you have been on 2 and have more in mind so it won't take you long to catch up..the main point is that you have come back for more holidays and that's a good thing... happy travelling.

Hi all. I'm a "newbie" to the Community, but I've clocked up a few JY holidays in recent years:

The Black Forest (by coach, currently not offered)

Highlights of Austria (by air, currently not offered).

Moscow & St. Petersburg

Walks & Castles of the Mosel (by coach, currently not offered)

America's Golden West

Charms of Luxembourg (by coach)

Grand Rail Tour of Eastern Europe

Istanbul City Break

I started off with a relatively simple European coach trip, and progressed towards some of the World's "glamour" destinations. However, I would advise anyone in full time employment, who may not have the luxury of being able to change their time off work at short notice to try and book time off in which there is an alternative destination / holiday offered. I was lucky enough to transfer my booking onto a different holiday when my original choice got cancelled. Fortunately this has only ever happened twice, to the same holiday in successive years ("On the Trail of King Ludwig / Castles of Bavaria")

This year I'm doing the Rhine Valley by River in July, and the Floriade & Valkenberg in September. As they say in those McDonald's adverts "I'm lovin' it!"

Just booked my first to Thailand in November and excited and nervous in equal measure!

That said, already planning which one will be my next! I change my mind with each study of the brochure!

So many trips, so little time!

Hi everyone,

I agree with LeeLee, it's very distracting when looking through the brochure and trying to decide where to travel next, a great choice but I'm hoping there will be more long haul options available over the next few years, as they have been scaled back recently, no doubt due to the recession.

I've done four JY - Treasures of Andaclucia, America's Golden West, South Africa with Victoria Falls add-on (the best holiday of my life so far!) and Spirit of India. They've all been really terrific, with excellent tour managers, action packed holidays with great excursions and hotels. I'm booked to do Chile, Argentina and Brazil with Travelsphere for Sept, as JY don't include Chile and I really want to see the Andes and the wine-tasting region of Mendoza! I've also just booked Vietnam and Cambodia with JY for next Feb - cant' wait! I've been saving hard for many years and with the car paid off, I'm now treating myself to a few holidays! I'm looking to do America's Parks, Canyons and Little Big Horn, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Russia,Canada, Peru and hopefully Costa Rica (if JY bring it back again) over the next few years hopefully - but I am also going to keep a close eye on new brochures as they come out, as new destinations would very easily tempt me! I'll just have to keep on saving hard....

Best wishes,

Bob

BOB and Lee Lee

I know what you mean about choice, I have done my dream holidays, Kenyan Safari JY and Australia independantly Ayres Rock was so beautiful (JY cancelled and I could not make the date offered), New Zealand scenery was breath taking. So for me I have been lucky enough to fulfill my dreams of where to go now it's all a bonus. What I would just say is sometimes for whatever reason a holiday does not stay in the system for to long, so make sure you try and go sooner rather than later, that's if there are enough pennys in the bank!!!..

I think my next tour will be USA bound but shall await the new brochure before I book anything more.

I've been on 4 JY's so far.

2008 - An Austrian holiday no longer offered, staying in Bruck. A brilliant introduction to JY! I was so nervous before going, but I loved every second of it.

2009 - Lake Garda which was amazing - Verona, Vanice etc etc.

2009 - Austrian Lakes which was great fun.

2011 - Apulia - a brilliant introduction to this beautiful area of Italy which is so often ignored.

I didn't have a JY holiday in 2010 (nor will I have one this year) because they offer very few European holidays during the school holidays. On these non JY holidays, I take a week or two to visit places in the UK, which is very nice, but I get so lonely in the long hours from getting back to the hotel after the day's excitement, to the time I leave the hotel in the morning!

I get a lot of teasing about our long holidays, which I take in good spirit, but the one downside is that many of the interesting JY holidays take a break during my 4 - 5 week window! Hey ho, here's to the 2013 brochure!

So far I have only done 3 holidays with Just You:

1. China in 2005 - Great holiday, would recommend to anyone

2. Parks, Canyons & Little Big Horn in 2008 - Would highly recommend this holiday as the scenery is spectacular and for the Cowboys in us all who wouldn't want to see where Gen Custer fought and died.

3. Magic of Kenya in 2011 - Fantastic, wild animals up close and personal, something that shouldn't be missed (think everyone who has been on this would agree)

I know where I am going next - Route 66 (when the 2013 dates come out), but I also want to do Texas & New Orleans, Peru, Australia & New Zealand at some point, money willing

I have been to Egypt (not with Just You) and would recommend this holiday.
