Hi all,

I really enjoyed reading your comments on which tours you would like to see added to the brochure.

I noticed there was a lot of support for a Florida holiday - so I am going to look into this a little more.

What sort of things attract you to Florida? is it the theme parks? keys? beaches? or is it the chance to do the one off stuff like swimming with dolphins?

I do love reading all your comments, so please don't be shy!

Thanks

Will

Will..

ooooooohhhh to swim with dolphins now theres a thought!! Would love to do that as long as the dolphins are well looked after and its not to there detriment.

A big NO to theme parks from me I am sorry to say, I live right near Thorpe Park and won't go on the scary rides there. ha ha ha ...

Beach is OK to look at but don't like laying for hours on one.

A Few ideas for you: -

Ice Bar on International Drive now that looks cold but fun.

Hot Air Balloon over anywhere of interest I like these.

Airboat Tour over the everglades or fast boat rides I feel the need for speed.

Scuba/snorkling diving with the manetees. I would love to do that but alas dont think I have enough puff these day's.

A good old fashioned steam boat along the water..

Does that help you at all.

Just to add to Cindy's post, a tour along the Florida Keys, the Everglades and definitely a balloon ride anywhere! Not that bothered about theme parks but would visit one if it was part of the itinerary.

Cheers,

Bob

Hi All

Swimming with Dolphins sounds a great idea,(been out with a few sharks mind you lol ) And can be very theraputic.. A trip over the everglades sounds a very interesting idea.

Perhaps a visit to an Allegator or wild life reserve would be of some interest.

Hi Will

Disneyland doesn't appeal to me but Universal tours does. Also the Kennedy Space Centre would be somewhere I'd love to visit

Thanks for your thoughts everyone. Rest assured that if we did anything involving animals it would certainly be responsibly done - as an animal lover myself I completely understand what you mean!

I've not yet been to the Everglades but I have heard so many great things about them!

Interesting that the magic of Disney doesn't seem too popular - but it's so good to find out what our fantastic customers are looking for in a holiday.

Hopefully we can help to make a few more dreams come true

Hi Will,

I agree with what people are saying, but a visit to Disney & Universal should be included or perhaps a 4 or 5 day stop over in Orlando to let people vist these places on their own, having been to Orlando before I know there are plenty of things to do there (Water Parks, Sea World, Shopping Malls), forget the beach, if you want the beach go to Spain, ha ha

A ride down the everglades is a must, they used to do paddle steamers around Fort Lauderdale, which included a meal and a show (I did a cavelry and indians dinner thing), a visit to the Space Centre, again a must see.

Just my thoughts.

Regards,

martin

Thanks for the extra comments everyone! Cindy - there could well be a new USA tour in the offing for our September brochure! (maybe there will be a Community Exclusive hehe!). And thank you for your kind offer of help, I shall keep you in mind!

I've got some great ideas to make this a really special holiday rather than just your bog standard fly-drive that everyone else offers - hopefully we can show you the real Florida!

please feel free to keep suggesting things
