hello everyone

it was nice to see this string going.

i have travelled abroad with JY, but this will be my first UK event.

i was advised it was the best one for me as of big numbers and the good mix of ages.

i am travelling from southampton, so yes a little worried about the weather too but fingers corssed it is good to us this year.

i look forward to seeing you all then and making some good freinds.

best wishes, vina

Hi All - I am interested to read all your messages about New Year at Hinckley. I am a newbie and am seriously tempted to join you all for the New Year. Still very nervous and can't quite take the plunge. Are you all up for a party? Does anyone know the average age range of the New Year Group? Angela

Hi Angela Think we have all had the same thoughts it being our first solo holiday but I came to the thought you take a chance or do nothing, but reading all the threads it is getting more exciting. Think we are all going to party with our new friends. Annabella

Hi All, I'm new to this single thing and have been looking at these posts. I want to take the plunge and come and party, not be on my own at NYE! Any ideas on ages going to this event? I'm a young 50, but can dance like half my age... should I come and gatecrash, I'm nervous about doing this on my own. Any advise from people? I think only the 2 nights is available now.. Lionel

Hi Lionel - I think you should come and gatecrash! I have taken the plunge and really nervous about going, but have booked now! I like to think I am a young mid-50! Looking at the online booking today, I believe the 3 night break is still available.:exclamation:

Angela, thanks for the reply - makes me feel better already. I'm nearly there and you're right the 3 nights is available - I'm not very good using the web site! (I'm in IT btw!!). If I come I'll be coming from Bristol direction if anyone needs a ride - assuming weather is OK!

I really do want to meet some new friends - anyone else want this?
