I don't think age matters on these holidays. Its personality that counts and whether you are up for a good time with lots of laughs. If you are used to spending time with people your own age, now is the time to try something different......

Hello there

I am thinking about booking to Sorrento at the end of May 2007. I am 36, first time holidaying on my own. Also would you believe never flown. Has anyone got any advice? I am also a little nervous regarding the age range so have also looked at another company that do age categories. Has anyone any thoughts?

Hi y'all. I have just stumbled on just you and I too am wondering about the ages of travellers being a young 66. Seems to me from what I read that you are a mixed bunch but it sounds as if I might have a good time travelling singly. I am going to read the brochures and take the plunge next year and will continue to read the messages to get encouragement

Hi

i have been lucky enough to travel extensively over the past 10 years on single holidays, many of which have been with Just You. i am now addicted to these holidays, as i can please myself and dont have to worry about having to compromise what i want to do if i was going with a friend(s). it really is liberating. i can promise you that the issue of age does not spoil the Just You holidays whatsover. i have always had excellent holidays and think that the Just You holidays are excellent value for money compared to another competitor company. i also have to agree with Tracey Jaggers comments, as i recognised instantly the competitor company she was referring to and agree about the gossiping and bickering (mainly amongst the females unfortunately) which i have never experienced on the Just You holidays as it would apprear that not only are the age group a little bit older but also much more mature in their attitude. i always look forward to my Just You Holidays. please do not be afraid to book, you are going to have a great time, and will meet some great people. No i am not on commision or have shares in the company. Mind you i am going to try and see if Just You will put me on the waiting list for one of their UK New Year Events. Last years was fantastic fun, but as a female you have to book around July time which is a bit of a pain! Wish me luck, and maybe even see one of you guys there?

Well, that was really helpful and puts my mind at rest. Nice to know that age is no barrier and shall pluck up the courage to try a Just You holiday next year and hope for the best

Hi

I have just returned from Boston New England and New York tour, and the age range was from 44-79 we all got on well, I would like to add that some of the older people were fitter than maybe the younger ones, we all mixed well and had a fantastic time, I am also going to Australia in June 2007

Hi Lisi

I too only found this web site recently but have been reading it avidly ever since!

I am 59 in a couple of weeks time and am definitely looking to book something next year - not sure what yet (there are so many to choose from!), but like you I will continue to read and be inspired by this message board!

Good luck,

Gael

Hi I am 37 and thinking of booking to go on the Black Forest House Party in November.Athough I am not too bothered about age really i thought it might be nice to know who's going, or to hear from anyone who's already been and reccomends it.

Thanks Catrina

I've been reading everyone's comments with great interest. I'm 30 and have been considering a Just You holiday. As with many others I'm concerned about the age range but also I would like to know whether these holidays are restrictive. I usually arrange my holiday myself but feel that I miss out on seeing things as I'm restricted to how far I can get on public transport but I like the freedom of being able to do what I want, when I want. Any advice?

The USA holiday I went on you did not have much free time so I would say it might depend on which type of holiday you choose. I did not go on optional excursion to Empire State I walked down myself, when we went to Central Station one lady left the excursion there and went out and about on the trains, you do not have to do the trips out and about if you dont fancy it, you can do your own thing. Just beawre that you might not get to much free time,so just read up on the trip or ask if any one has been on it before. Hope this helps you.

I am booked for Australia June 2007 and thinking of Poland maybe April .

I have done a couple of 'single' holidays but with another company.

It seems, from the messages I've read on this board, that there is more variety in ages with Just You, rather than 'lumping' specific ages together, which is what other companies seem to do.

I definately agree that it's only a few days/weeks out of your life!!
