Hi Moira
I've just done this holiday, if you do all of the optional tours it's very busy, but I like it that way as I'm not one for lying on the beach. Of course you can choose not to do all of them, but they are worth it.
The hotel is nice and the staff lovely, if you need anything (eg a kettle) then just ask and they will find it for you. They even arranged a free mini bus to take us up to some wonderful gardens on our free day, all we had to pay for was admission, we were given a guided tour and it was a lovely few hours.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the 'vegetarian' choice at dinner, it generally consisted of the vegetables we all had plus a fried or scrambled egg or rice, not very inspiring! I'm not vegetraian but a couple were and they tended to have a larger serving of the salad course to make up for it!
It's always a bit daunting on your first solo holiday but everyone else is in the same boat and you will soon make friends. If you have any questions about this tour then please ask, I'll be happy to answer if I can.
Enjoy yourself!
Rose
