I was just revisiting a few old threads with wishlists on. There were a couple of mentions of ski holidays.

So who would be interested - whether experienced or beginner?

Thats my personal thoughts but still think its a great idea because lots of people do go for ski holidays.

Me - would be very interested. Intermediate (OK maybe advanced beginner).

One of your competitors does skiing holidays - but to duff resorts in (mostly) Italy, also splits their holidays often between age groups - they just don't look very good so have never booked. Would prefer ski trips to US (maybe combined with a few days in eg Boston, New York, Las Vegas - depending on where the ski trip was to.) But have skied in Italy and Austria (eg Courmayeur, Ischgl and the Carinthia area - no problems there) so if resort was good would be happy to book it.

This is obviously a niche interest, but I don't know of any solo holiday operator that does a skiing holiday I would be interested in booking.

Thanks as always for listening so carefully to what we say on the forum; however in this case it's a definite "no" from me - I went skiing once and have no desire to ever go again! However, I am sure that quite a lot of people would be interested - Katy who was on my Jordan tour for one!

A definite NO for me, I fall over enough with out snow being in the mix. For those that like that sort of thing then I think it's a good idea.

Definitely not for me - too old to even try. I tried ice skating once and that was enough. Could not even walk on the ice!

I had my own ice skates as a youngster and spent most weekends at Richmond Ice Rink, but never been on ski, and now I am older to scared to even try..

NOW I like the sound of that!!! Now that would appeal.....just as long as I don't have to walk around looking like blimp in winter Gear !!!!!

My eldest daughter broke 2 ribs skiing, then spent the rest of the week in various restaurants drinking hot chocolate and the most amazing tan whilst waiting for the rest of her group learning to ski :thumbup:

Cindy - at least you can ice skate - I could not even do that! Perhaps if I had tried when I was younger or a child, then I would have succeeded as you do not have as much fear when you are younger.
