Hello Julia

I understand the skiing holiday that JY tried out earlier this year was a success.  Unfortunately, I couldn't go on it as when the date came out I had already booked another holiday that overlapped.  Sadly also no one on the holiday left a review on the forum, very annoying.

I understood - earlier this year - that JY were planning to follow up with more skiing holidays.  Is this still the case?  If so, when can we expect details?   Don't want to book something else that clashes.

I know this is a bit of a niche area, lots of people just not interested.  But there are plenty who are and not a lot of provision for those who don't have skiing buddies.

Thanks

Katy

Hi Katy,

It is a shame that there weren't any reviews left on the community. But you are right, it was considered a success and I can confirm the team are working on some new Ski tours for 2018.

It's all very provisional at the moment but we would be looking at early 2018 departures and they should be available to book later this year (they aren't in the upcoming brochure). Is there anywhere in particular that you would like to see as a ski destination?

Kindest regards,

Julia

Thanks Julia, was hoping to book an Asia trip in Jan/Feb as well as going skiing, makes it difficult to plan but ...

My preferred locations would be a week somewhere in North America, with the possibility of an add on in a city - eg Killington or Stowe areas with a few days in Boston before a flight back; or Tahoe or Mammoth areas with a few days in Vegas or LA or SF; or skiing in upstate NY followed by a few days in NY, etc. However, I suspect I'm going to have to settle for Europe - in which case Austria or Italy (not France).

Will look out for the details.

Thanks

Katy
