Hi,

I have booked for Americas Heart and soul 20th October flying from Manchester. Can you please let me know how many people have booked so far on this trip. I know we have a way to go yet, but would like to know how the bookings are going for this trip.

Hi Rosie9

There is a way to go but there are 16 of you booked on this trip so far.

Ask me again in a month or two and I'll happily update the numbers for you.

Kindest regards,

Julia

Hello Julia,

Could you please let me know if you need to take malaria tablets when visiting New Orleans.

Many thanks.

Hello Ann,

As you are travelling to a region where mosquitoes are present we would advise (subject to consultation with a qualified pharmacist or your doctor) you purchase high performance mosquito repellent before your trip and apply this regularly during your holiday, including when you go to bed. We would also suggest that you take with you a ‘plug-in’ mosquito repellent device for your hotel room as an extra measure. These, along with DEET based repellents, are available from most pharmacies.

In terms of taking tablets (or any other medication) I would strongly advise that you speak with your GP who not only has the most up to date information but also (and perhaps most importantly) your medical history.

Kindest regards,

Julia
