Speaking personally one of the big attractions on top of it been 4 great music cities is the fact that all the hotels are in the city centres and walkable to many places.

Often on touring holidays the hotels are on the outskirts of town which isn't always great if you want to find live music on an evening.

Well done to JY for picking ood hotels.

Well Cindy, I didn't check all of the holidays, but of the ones I looked at National Parks, Mount Rushmore and Little Bighorn was a runaway leader in terms of bookings on a holiday 10 months away. And, now that you've said it, I might try and find out a few stats for you....

Yes it certainly has ticked my boxes its a trip I've wanted to make for a long time.

The big bonus is the location of the hotels, JY have down a great job picking city centres walkable to loads of places. As I've said before I know Chicago very well and love the place have also previously been to St Louis & Memphis and both are good fun. New Orleans is very high on my to do list.

Just noticed another plus is that we are in memphis saturday night, best time ever on Beale street on a sat.

Looks like those already booked and using the forum are in similar mindset to me so reckon the review will be a good read.

I'd love to join the group!! I had a great time in Chicago when I visited and New Orleans is a destination that is on my 'to do' list. Sadly, my travel plans for 2014 don't include North America.
