We don't offer a balloon ride as one of our excursions but I'm sure you will be able to make your own arrangements to take one.

I would suggest that you do a little research on the internet to see what's available and how much it costs. Then when you arrive in Kenya, have a word with your tour manager and see what's possible. If something is available, the tour manager may have some good ideas about how to fit in a balloon trip with everything else.

Hope you don't mind me sticking my nose into this..when I went on this tour Oct 2010, there was NO CHANCE to do a hot air balloon flight as I dearly wanted to do one.. this was only available if you were on the other game reserve sorry can't think what it is called senior moment. Which this tour does not go on this tour does Tsarvo game park. There was a way of doing it by stopping with the Masai Mara Tribe on a 3 night break which

a/ would cut into the holiday by that amount of time and excluding other things and

b/ was a stupid amount of money.

So from my experience Mary unless things have changed it is highly unlikely you will be able to do this, but I hope I am proved wrong.If there is anything I can help with regards to this tour please feel free to pick my brains..

Mary, I did see a few opportunities on the internet but perhaps they would take up too much time and money so you might be best off just enjoying the activities included in the holiday, if Cindy is right.

Thanks Cindy/Olly I just wondered if there was a chance of doing this

In Kenya where its warmer,but I will ask the tour Manager, Its quite expensive to do here,so I would expect that it will probably be more there,if available.
