My sincere apologies. I did check with a colleague before I replied to your original query but it seems there has been a little confusion our end. For anyone going on this holiday, you do need cash to pay for the visa when you arrive. Hope you enjoy your holiday.

This is what I have been told:

Visitors to Zambia are now required to obtain a visa when they arrive in Zambia at a cost of £75 per person (for British nationals). This sum needs to be paid (in cash) at all points of entry. US dollars are also an acceptable form of payment.

The £75 fee is for a single entry visa. Anyone leaving Zambia and then entering the country again will be charged an additional £75 for doing so. Although these prices are currently correct they can change without prior notice.
