I'm booked on this trip too. I've just got back from Peru and am now counting down the days to Namibia. I know a friend of mine who lives in Wales has also booked. I live on the south coast.

lovely to hear from you. I did the Peru trip with Amazon add on in 2012. What an experience!! What part of Wales is your friend from. I'm travelling from the Gower in South Wales. The Namibia trip doesn't seem far off now does it! Just Christmas to get past and we are there!!

I agree, once Xmas is gone then the trip to Namibia will soon be on us. Did you see the BBC programme about the wonders of the commonwealth, it was on just before the commonwealth games. They did about a 10-15 minute brief on Namibia. I didn't even realise Namibia was part of the commonwealth! Looking at the scenery just made me want to go there even more.

My friend lives in Chepstow but she doesn't use the forum really.
