Hi Clara,

I'm from Dublin but live in Co. Wexford and I've been using JY for four years now - a great company and they have opened up a whole new world of holiday possibilities for me! Just one bit of advice - you can book your own connecting flights from Dublin to join up with the main tour party in London, but if these flight times from Dublin to the UK are changed, delayed or cancelled it would be on your insurance and up to you to sort out, as you had booked them. JY can't book flights that originate outside the UK, so I fly from Belfast instead and get JY to book them for me, that way I'm covered and they will also be able to keep tabs of any delays etc. It adds a few extra hours onto my travelling time, but it's worth it for peace of mind. I hope you book - I've travelled the world with JY over the last few years (and done 7 JY tours and one with the parent company Travelsphere) and have had the best holiday experiences of my life with them. Unfortunately my holiday plans are currently on hold as my mother is seriously ill, but I hope to travel with them again once I am able.

Best wishes,

Bob

Hi Clara,

I live in Dublin and have taken a few JY holidays. Having to fly to London and sometimes stay overnight does add to the cost, but in my experience it has been worth it as the holidays have been superb. I have done Peru, Moscow & St Petersburg, Australia and New Zealand, and I am off to Apulia later in July. For the bigger trips I stay at an airport hotel in London the previous night to avoid stressing out over the possibility of delays etc. but going via Belfast is also a good idea.

I have found the social aspect of these trips great as people are usually in a happy mood and I have made some good friends. Looking through the brochure has become an addiction for me now.............perhaps China early next year!!

Regards

Marie
