Hi Olly, I've just booked the Spirit of India for next March and have paid for JY to get my visa for me. I've received the confirmation invoice and it says for those who live outside the UK to contact their local Indian Embassy to ask about visa regulations, which I will do. However, assuming they are the same for those travelling from Ireland as from the UK, should there be any problem with JY getting my visa for me, or should I get it myself from the Indian Embassy in Dublin and get a refund from JY? I plan to do the China trip and others in the future, so in principle I'm just wondering should there be any problem with a UK firm like JY obtaining an entry visa for an Irish passport holder living in Ireland? Hope this makes sense to you and you see what I am asking?!!

Hello

I've had a word with our visa team and they say it would be best if you arrange your own visa in Dublin as you would otherwise have to pay a courier charge to have your passport returned to you. Please give us a call on 0844 567 8844 to arrange a refund of the money you paid for the visa service.

Kind regards,

Olly, your editor
