Hello -I've just joined this website. I've never been on a holiday by myself so feel nervous and unsure about doing it! Any other first timesrs out there?

Hi Roma

I have just joined too. Lost my husband last year, and have decided to bite the bullet as it were. Have booked for a Discovery weekend in Swindon in November. My trips abroad have been very few and far between, mainly holidays here in the UK and Ireland, but looking forward to rectifing that next year

Hi you guys,

As you'll see from this forum, we've all been first timers and probably wasted a lot of time thinking about taking a holiday with Just You - don't waste that time, as you will find that everyone has been there and discovered that they have wasted time! I went on my first abroad holiday in May and am now going to Canada for almost 3 weeks in September with them - it's been the best thing that I could ever have done, and the other people on the holidays are really great - all in the same boat, for whatever their reasons, but there to really enjoy themselves. My motto is "treat others as you would like to be treated and you won't go far wrong!" Go for it and enjoy!

Take care

Anne

I am another first timer - widowed earlier this year. I am not going to let being on my own stop me travelling!! Booked for Vietnam in October - any other first timers on that trip?
