Yes I'm getting more and more excited too. I even have a countdown on my computer. Can't wait to get my visa back now that will make it all the more real.

I have followed what other people gave as tips on here - I bought some Chinese Yuan to take with me - I got a good rate at Thomas Cook. The hints also tell you to take good clean sterling notes which can be exchanged in the hotels for a better rate than we achieve here.
