I met a lady called Sylvia in Kusadasi in May and she is going on the Japan trip. If anyone knows her please ask her to get in touch with Hazel from Liverpool. It would be lovely to speak with her again.

Hi Jayne & Julie,

I will book the Mount Fuji trip with our Tour Manager Sarah Wrightson, when we arrive in Japan,as you cannot book this in advance apparently..Would not miss it.Hope you are both like me ,looking forward with excitement.

Julie, as this is my 2nd trip with JY you will enjoy it.I was apprehensive too on my first one,but very comfortable with the group as everyone generally shares the same interest and supports each other.

Hello! I am also going on this trip in October, only got it booked last Thursday and have been away over the weekend. Have been trying to get away all year to Japan but finally got it booked now! Anyone know how many in the group? Wesley, I am also travelling from Belfast, which airline did you book connecting flight with? I've not done so yet until I get all info from justyou.co uk. Should have it shortly. I am interested in doing the Hiroshima optional day.

Anyone else received full details from JY yet?

hi Wesley, I was looking at connecting flights yesterday and thought aer lingus (from aldergrove) sounded better timing. Mind you I've had bother with them before, cancelling! I've an approx. 2 hour drive to the airport also so not sure yet what to do about this as 9.30 takeoff from belfast city would be a very early start for me, but not unmanageable I'm sure! It would be good to know someone else travelling on same connecting flight though. Will check it out later and let you know.

Hi Velma,

Where are you travelling from?Considering JY booked this connecting flight for me from Belfast City Airport ,you cannot afford to leave it any later as you have to be at Heathrow 3 hours prior to departure, for an international flight. The flight for Dubai departs at 2.15pm.Anyway it is very cheap for me.I would not travel via Aer Lingus again ,as I did last year and you pay for luggage check in, irrespective of weight.

Ok Wesley, thanks, maybe that has made up my mind! I travel from Enniskillen area. I assume though, that we check baggage right through to Japan, in Belfast, as I usually would for connecting flights? I had thought that it just meant those meeting in Heathrow would have to be there 3 hours before, otherwise I felt 2 hrs would be enough to be in HRW since we'd already have checked in for the Japan flight, in Belfast, if I am explaining myself properly!!

also, Wesley, are you booked back to Belfast on the 15.30 flight? that's 3 hours after arrival time in HRW.

Hi Velma,

I contacted JY earlier about this matter ,you raised regarding connecting flight. They have assured me which I assumed anyway that the BMI flight from George Best Belfast City Airport is a separate flight,so we will have to collect our main baggage at Heathrow.BMI have a baggage limit of 20 kg ,so bear this in mind if you decide to book the same flight from Belfast City Airport.Don't forget we have to make our way to the VIP lounge at Heathrow, to meet up with the rest of the Tour Party including Tour Manager.

hmmm, never had to do that before, recheck baggage but whatever...

what about optional tours, any idea how we pay for those? I don't want to carry endless Yen and am wondering if they take cedit card payment over in Japan for the tours. Maybe I should email JY! As yet I've had absolutely nothing in the post from them about the trip.

Should receive final documentation by Wednesday of this week ,so I have been told by JY.You pay for optional tours when we arrive in Japan and not in advance.

Have you booked the connecting flight from George Best Belfast City Airport?
