Hello, I am due to go on the Walking the Amalfi Coast trip on the 13/10. I have read some of the reviews regarding the hotel, especially the food. This concerns me as I have an issue with some foods, especially with MSG. Will I have to request my food when I am there? If I choose to eat out are restaurants prices quite reasonable?

Also, not relating to food, I have proper walking shoes, they are open toed, are these OK?

Regards

Teena

Hi Teena,

Thank you for your message; as you have specific dietary requirements, we would recommend you contact our customer services team so they can make a note on your booking.

It looks like eating out on the Amalfi Coast can be a little expensive - a three-course dinner and bottle of wine at a mid-level local restaurant can cost between EUR 40 and 50 with pizza with a beer with table service can cost around EUR 15.

Checking in the JY brochure, hiking boots and walking poles are essential for this walking tour. Most walks take place on paths and tracks. Some will be more strenuous and will involve slopes, high rocky steps and terrain, cliff trails with no handrails, hills, stiles and foot bridges which may be rough underfoot at times.

Hope that helps!

With best wishes,

Emma
