A couple of questions about the 27th Jan 2024 departure to New Zealand,please:

• The optional excursions listed on the JY website do not include float plane or helicopter tours but Day 5 of the main itinarary states "You can also take an optional flight today, either by float-plane or helicopter, over Mount Tarawera Volcano." Are these flights still available and if so, can they be booked via JY Customer Services or in resort? If the latter, can cards be used or must payment be in cash and what is the approximate cost? 

•  Who will the Tour Manager be? Will they be travelling with us from Heathrow or meeting us in Auckland?

Hi MLB, thanks for your questions. We've checked with the team and the two Mount Tarawera excursions are only bookable in resort. The current prices are £279 for the helicopter and £162 for the plane however, these prices are subject to change without notice. We don't have any note of whether it's payable by card or cash I'm afraid. 

We're unable to confirm who your Holiday Director will be as again, this can be subject to change to at the very last minute. Looking at the information available, at the moment, the Holiday Director will fly with the group from the UK but we're awaiting final confirmation from our Operations team. If this changes, we'll post in reply here.
