My Canadian friend recommends LTI limousine service but says Boston is very much a Uber City.  Uber has a pick up area at the airport and the cost to downtown is about $20-25.

We hired a car with Satnav for Boston back in 2011. I drove, my daughter map read. After coming out of the tunnel, I was presented with a 5 lane highway on the left side when she said I needed the next right. Brown pants time :blush: There is a great Metro system which I believe went to Logan Airport.

Been to Boston a couple of times in recent years.  I always use the metro system from the airport.   Its not very far from the airport into the city and it never seems to take very long.

Oldest subway in North America as well and fifth oldest in the world, only the Metropolitan Line, another in South London , Budapest and Glasgow are older. That might come in useful at your next pub quiz! 😛

Many thanks for your suggestions. I'm not a fan of Uber but I may give the Metro a whirl. Then again - the limo service is a possibility because, as I always unashamedly say "My idea of camping is a 3 star hotel......" :D
