Cindy - I flew with Virgin to New York/New Jersey airport with Virgin in 1998, but I'd have hoped they'd improved by now. It was clean but cramped and left and arrived on time, but I was really annoyed as the friend i was with was/is type 1 diabetic and needed to keep her insulin to be kept cool, but Virgin refused to store it in their fridge because of 'Insurance issues', so my poor friend Jenny had to sit with her insulin floating in an ice bucket between her feet for the whole flight, ( 7.5 hours to Newark). She complained to Richard Branson about it at the time, but 20 years later, she is still waiting for a response from him!

That’s really bad Richard hasn’t replied to your friends issue re insulin what a nightmare journey that would have been for her...years ago my son wrote to him re cabin crew as they had minimum height but no maximum but when he applied he was told he was to tall 6ft 9 and a half inches! So he wrote into Richard he got a fab reply and a goodie bag of Virgin stuff back ....but still no job offer ...I think they now have put height limit on advert!
