Thoroughly enjoyable holiday based in Cavtat; just the right balance of organised trips and free time, and what a beautiful place!

My photos can be seen at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/forwarddefensive/albums/72157687393697710

I don't do Facebook, Twitter, etc, but perhaps someone who was on the trip with me will share these images.

Good Afternoon Dave,

I'm delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable time in Croatia.

Thank you for sharing a photo album of your trip with the wider Just You Community.

I have forwarded the link of your photo album to the Product Manager of this tour who can take a look.

Kindest Regards,

Amy

There has been a lot of negative posts recently on the Forum (mine included) but I think JY are to be congratulated for listening to customer feedback and turning this holiday around.  I did this holiday when we stayed at the Albatross which was a dire hotel and the whole experience does not count as one of my best JY trips despite the beautiful location.

Glad you had a wonderful holiday Dave

Good to hear from you, too. Where's your next trip? I might do St Lucia (again) but more likely Goa with Thomson/Tui.

I have to agree with you there Jonah.  I did love the trip though.

Is that one for me Dave?

I had a great trip to Crete in September (Ancient and Modern Crete).  Wonderful hotel, and good itinerary.  I would recommend it.

As for next year?  Nothing booked yet.   I am probably going to do the new Slovenia tour, which has an excellent itinerary.

Did you get your sea swimming in, in Cavtat?

Hi Elaine

Yes, it was aimed at you - someone snook a reply in between!

It was just about warm enough for sea-swimming in October. The beach on Lopud Island was best; I didn't actually go in, in Cavtat. Might see you in Slovenia, and thanks for the tip about Crete.

Totally agree with Dave. I was on the same trip. Stunning scenery...you never tired of looking and marvelling. Also agree about the balance of trips and free time. I think free time is essential. Some people preferred the option of having a free day rather than an optional trip. I did both optional ones but didn't do one of scheduled ones. That was the beauty of being at the same hotel for a week.
