Hello Wendy - yes the only things about our NY trip that were unfortunate were the long wait for the rooms when we got to the hotel after a very long day. Also as you say the plastic knives and forks etc in the restaurant. But it was nice to have breakfast included in our trip. Which is unusual in America I believe. The breakfast was very nice as well. Hope your keeping well.

Hi Gerry - and anyone else reading this who was on the March trip!

I'm keeping well and have just come back from 3 weeks Interrailing in Holland, Germany and France - something I've wanted to do for 50 years and have finally succeeded - a fantastic trip!

A friend went on the May New York trip.  She tells me that the hotel arrival was much better than ours, with luggage immediately taken care of and most if not all rooms ready for occupation on arrival.  There was also less of a space issue in the breakfast room, so although there were still plastic cutlery / paper plates, at least they had tables to sit at, so less of an problem than for those of us on our trip who were eating off our laps in the reception area!

I know that Just You spoke to the hotel about the issues we experienced and it looks as though things improved as a result.  This is what I as a customer look for - I know that things can go wrong, it's how it's dealt with that makes the difference.  So thank you Just You for your response.

And as I've said till you're probably bored with reading it, it was overall a GREAT TRIP and I would recommend it highly!

All the best and happy travelling to all

Wendy
