I am sure you will all enjoy Vietnam our TM did look after me regarding fish and I was catered for accordingly fair play she was very concerned that I wasn't eating but Vietnam does boast some of the best cuisine in the world and everything is always fresh and I am sure it was all delicious if you wasn't as fussy or spoilt as me, I did take some snacks with me anyway and cuppa soups always came in handy

Hi Bob

Hi Dave, you were SO lucky to see Halong Bay in good weather, it seems to be generally foggy there - according to our TM anyhow! I did get some very atmospheric photos however with the islands barely visible through the gloom...which reminds me, hope you've now got lots of pics to replace the ones you lost!

Cheers,

Bob

Hello Dave,

I've read your feedback on your Vietnam trip which is very helpful. I'm thinking of booking for this trip in March 2016 which is soon! Can you tell me apart from the 200 steps to visit a cave, were there any other times on this holiday in Vietnamwhen doing a lot of walking etc would be a problem. I've an arthritic knee which was not a problem on the trip to Cuba in September 2015, the humidity helped it. But the holiday to Vietnam is classed as more rigorous. In reading your feedback I can't see any other places where a sore knee may be a problem? The only thing I declined in Cuba was to walk in a park showing different species of trees, but I didn't go because of the intense heat? I'm fit and swim about 4 times a week!

Thanks for your help. Chris

Thank you Dave for this comprehensive review.  I'm a newbie to JY and I'm starting with Tuscany next year, but Vietnam is on my wish list. Having read your review I feel even more keen to go. Many thanks for taking the time to give us a real insight into the trip.
