If you are wondering if you should go on this holiday the answer is YES!! Fab week in beautiful surroundings. This ranch is extremely well run and the owners and staff are fantastic. Well trained horses, very yummy food and lovely accommodation. You dont have to be a good rider to go but if you want to put on boots and a stetson and pretend to be a cowboy or cowgirl for a week then go for it!!

Hi thanks for this brief but great review! This isn't a holiday I've really considered but you have encouraged me to look at it again!

Best wishes,

Hi Susie and Norm

I have booked on this holiday for October 2017, I would have liked to do the April one as it leaves on my birthday but couldn't afford it by then as haven't long got back from NYC.  I am a horse rider (since age 9) so not in quite the same situation as you both but I'd still be interested to hear about what to take and what it was like etc, as I'm wondering whether to take my own riding hat etc and wondered if people wore them, I know holiday insurance will say you need to but wondered what people actually do and what other clothes as I'm not intending to be wearing jodhpurs would be great to hear from you Susie and Norm when you get back maybe you could let me know how it goes, just such a shame I can't do the April one.

I'm looking at booking the October 17 trip too. I'm going on safari in September so trying to justify it at the moment. I was a competent rider and horse owner but haven't ridden now for 35 years so may take a couple of lessons before going.  I checked with Justyou last week and the trip is for 12 people with 8 places still vacant. Hope to make a decision in the next week or so. ??

Hi Penny,

I'm definitely booked onto this in October so if you are able to also come it would be great to meet you.  I was wondering whether to contact and ask how many people and if anybody else has booked yet so thank you for the update it's always good to know others are booked as I noticed they removed the January date so I assume nobody booked for that one which is why it was removed so I was starting to wonder if anybody else had booked for October.

Fingers crossed you can come.

Donna
